The Mutuals and Projects within Rossmoor provide and manage all landscape and tree services, except within private atriums/enclosures and permitted private gardens. Clubhouses, open spaces, the golf course, and other trust property landscapes are managed by the Golden Rain Foundation.

Note: Special requests for personalized landscaping are not accepted. However, if the landscape around your manor has deteriorated and a repair is needed beyond basic maintenance, please contact your landscape representative to assess the situation.

Permits & Representatives
Landscape Representatives
Each Mutual has volunteer Landscape Representatives who serve as liaisons for landscape issues. They work with residents, the landscape department, and Mutual Board members to address concerns.

Encroachment/Alteration Permits
Some Mutuals may permit residents to encroach onto the common area in order to install a path to a rear door. In order to apply for permission, please visit the alterations page:
Important Guidelines
Interacting with Staff
Please do not interact directly with gardeners or landscape staff or make special requests. This can be disruptive and may cause issues for staff members. All requests should go through the Service Order Desk.
Carport Servicing
The landscape department does not service or clean leaves from carports, as they are designated as exclusive use common areas.
Special Landscape Requests
Special requests for personalized landscaping are not accepted. This policy ensures equal treatment for all residents and keeps costs minimal. For deteriorated landscapes requiring repair beyond basic maintenance, contact your landscape representative.
