Sharps Disposal
Used medical needles (sharps) cannot be placed in household garbage. Sharps can be disposed of in the red box at Gateway located in the lobby by the main parking lot near the Library and the Oak Room. It is next to the yellow drug disposal box.
Drop-off Location: Gateway Complex - Red sharps container in main parking lot lobby (adjacent to medication disposal box)
Hours: Accessible during Gateway operating hours
Environmental Warning: Never dispose of medications via household drains or toilets. These substances persist through water treatment and contaminate environmental water systems.
