(Wednesday, March 11) Any Rossmoor members interested in entering a lottery for a seating during The Golden Pear’s “soft opening” period can send an email to bigbite@rossmoor.com with their name and Rossmoor address, and the names and addresses of up to three other Rossmoor residents.
Those chosen will be seated in parties of four; such parties may be assigned to two different tables.
Dates for the soft opening haven’t been established yet. But once they have been, the parties chosen will receive an email from bigbite@rossmoor.com asking for confirmation of their availability for an assigned seating time.
Rodney Worth, the chef partnering with Rossmoor Walnut Creek to expand food and beverage offerings in Rossmoor, figures “about 75%” of the work needed to open has been done on the new Golden Pear restaurant at Creekside.
